Café Asteria, the natural meetingplace on Poros.
This is a great place!!! Nice staff and one of the cheapest places on Poros. Here you meet; Scandinavians, English, Germans, or wherever you come from, wheather you are here for breakfast, or late in the evening for a drink on your way to the disco, or just on your way home.

Thanasis

Café Asteria is run by Thanasis Rigas since 1996, but has been in the familys posession for 45 years. 9 people are working here to make you comfortable and pleased with what is offered. The whole staff speaks English, and some speak Greek, sometimes they speak Swedish.

Café Asteria is open around april-november, between 07.30 - ca 03.00, depending on if the guests are still there. Here you can have breakfast, full or continental, and if you drink coffee you'll get an extra cup without extra charge. (Where else on Poros will you get that?) You can also have lunch. You can choose between spaghetti, pizza,  hamburgers, sallads, and more. In the evening you can have smaller dishes like pizza, pie, sandwich, and more. You can also have beer, coffee, frappe, wine, drinks or whatever you wish to drink.
